Love waking up to find out school is cancelled for a snow day! We sure got dumped on -- probably about 10 inches if I remember right. The kids were begging to go out in the snow at 7:30 am. Being the mean mom that I am, I made them wait until 10:30 when I couldn't hold them back anymore. (It was still snowing all morning, and Jake had a terrible cold.)
A fair amount of snow was eaten...
The kids had so much fun out there together, and stayed out for quite a while.
They liked having a "treasure hunt." They would hide some of the outdoor toys in the snow, and then try to find them again. Most of them ended up lost until the snow melted! Hot cocoa and marshmallow time!
