December Part 1

Aaron fixed my fireplace on one of their visits up here, and I am loving sitting in this warm Christmassy spot!

 We barely got any snow this year, but enough for snow angels on the cement!

Christmas chain countdown!

Even the animals being nicer at this time of year!

 Christmas band concert! These are two of her good friends -- Nate and Chloe. Emma did very well and played the timpani, snare drum, and xylophone! She also participated in the Meridian Christmas Parade where our school got the first place award for best band!

Decorating ginger-bread houses!

 Emma was invited to an ugly sweater party, and had a ton of fun with her friends!

 Five more minutes of snow! Enough for a quick taste!

And a little puppet show at our library -- I love the laughs and how excited the kids get!

December 2019

November

We got to celebrate Jacob at his school assembly for getting the character counts award for Positive Attitude! The kids work so hard trying to get these awards, and we're so proud of him!

 A quick trip to Twin Falls to see Isabel get blessed, and sneak in some baby snuggles! 

I wrote a reminder to myself to make brown rice -- and Jacob thought it lacked a little something...

 Decorated for Christmas a little early this year. I'd wonder where Lucas gets his need to make crazy faces in every picture, but I just look behind the couch and it all makes sense!

 

The Thanksgiving baking begins! Lucas helped with chocolate pie, Jacob pumpkin pie, and Emma somehow got out of getting a picture making the raspberry pretzel salad. Add that to some apple pie and cheese ball, and we were ready to head back to Twin!

 Pilgrim hat and all. Emma's always great about sitting by Grandma Judy and keeping her company! Two other Wight brothers came, so plenty of people and food made for a great meal!

 Then doing the rounds visiting all the cousins! Coloring Christmas pictures and baby snuggles at Angela's, playing with cousins at Curt's and Amber's, then pizza and video games to end the night at April's, and swimming at the hotel with Gary's kids in the morning!

The cat made sure she was noticed when we came back after leaving her alone for a couple days!
