The kids had fun coloring on the paper table coverings while we waited for breakfast -- pancakes, eggs, and sausage.
After breakfast, the kids made some ornaments and colored pictures.
Then we heard Santa was here!
Emma, always up for smiling and talking, told him she wanted the Lego Grand Hotel, Lego Sunshine Ranch, Lego Jet, and Wizard of Oz. I told them to pick one thing to ask for, but they took their chance and told Santa them all.
Jake, always more hesitant and quiet around strange men dressed in red trying to hold and talk to him, was willing to sit there if it meant he could ask for a couple cars and a toy fan. Doesn't mean he'll give a smile. We're making progress.
He he he... poor babies getting tossed into a strangers lap -- classic screaming baby picture. I don't know why it makes me laugh every time. Luke was not impressed.
He recovered and took me back though. He must love me.
