Brad and I bought a real tree for our first Christmas together, and after it almost killed him, we got this artificial one. It gave us a good ten years, and I pulled it out of the box this year, and a ton of lights didn't work. We decided to give it it's last Hurrah!
The kids love loading up the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music. Lucas was thrilled with the tree and all the jingle bells and dangling little things he could pull on... by Christmas day, the bottom foot of the tree was bare.
