Babby Farms

Family fun trip to Babby Farms! It was fantastic! We all fed the deer, and as we were walking away they made little squeaky whiny sounds! I didn't know deer made noises! We also fed some goats, horses, zebra-horse mixes, and whatever other animals were sticking they're heads out for food. Except for the camels -- they bit the hair of the girl in front of us, and for some reason the kids didn't want to get too close!

Petting a kangaroo!
The kids' favorites were the spider monkey and Capuchin. The spider monkey would touch our hands and grab rocks out of them and either drop them or throw them back in our hands, then run off and swing on his toys. The capuchin liked to grab and bite the spider monkey -- apparently they've lived next to each other the whole time they've been there, and have become good pester friends.
I think this was a leemer -- he really liked when his neck got a rub, and would extend his neck and head up and enjoy the massage.

This is the first place I've been that you can actually interact a little bit with exotic animals -- it was a great experience, and the kids are begging to go back. After this, we stopped by a little restaurant right at the Nampa airport called the Tower Grill -- a new favorite for us. You can watch the little airplanes land and take off while enjoying your food!
We ended the day with more swimming. I gave the two boys a challenge over the summer to try a new slide that they were afraid of, and if they did, I would buy them an outrageously priced dipping dots of their choice. Lucas finally tried his first tube slide  in the kiddie pool and absolutely loved it! He surprised me by trying the two intermediate kid slides too! A cotton candy dipping dot well deserved!
