Wahooz!

More fun before school starts again! The kids had a movie and sleep downstairs night.
Then off to Wahooz!

 Bumper cars!

Air hockey, a lot of arcade games, and Brad and I taking turns with Emma on the twister ride. We can't handle the spinning rides like we could when we were younger! Everything was spinning after that!

The frog hopper, that Emma and Jacob enjoyed, but Lucas made them stop the ride in the middle, and his equilibrium was so off -- he fell right onto the floor when they lifted up the harness. Poor kid!
 A couple rounds of mini-golf!
Bumper boats! A couple of the kids were not thrilled about getting sprayed with water... I'll let you guess which...
 Bowling!

Lucas's favorite thing was the lazer maze. He went in there probably 100 times!
I loved the Dark XD ride -- and whose picture is listed in first place for legendary? Ooh yeah, that's me! It may have only been against women and children, but I'm taking the win!
Emma and Jake teaming up in the lazer maze -- also one of their favorites!
Emma being brave and taking on the ropes course!
More golf -- and Jake scored a hole in one!
Another fantastic day spent with the family! And Lucas insists on making a face in all pictures... What a goof!

Babby Farms

Family fun trip to Babby Farms! It was fantastic! We all fed the deer, and as we were walking away they made little squeaky whiny sounds! I didn't know deer made noises! We also fed some goats, horses, zebra-horse mixes, and whatever other animals were sticking they're heads out for food. Except for the camels -- they bit the hair of the girl in front of us, and for some reason the kids didn't want to get too close!

Petting a kangaroo!
The kids' favorites were the spider monkey and Capuchin. The spider monkey would touch our hands and grab rocks out of them and either drop them or throw them back in our hands, then run off and swing on his toys. The capuchin liked to grab and bite the spider monkey -- apparently they've lived next to each other the whole time they've been there, and have become good pester friends.
I think this was a leemer -- he really liked when his neck got a rub, and would extend his neck and head up and enjoy the massage.

This is the first place I've been that you can actually interact a little bit with exotic animals -- it was a great experience, and the kids are begging to go back. After this, we stopped by a little restaurant right at the Nampa airport called the Tower Grill -- a new favorite for us. You can watch the little airplanes land and take off while enjoying your food!
We ended the day with more swimming. I gave the two boys a challenge over the summer to try a new slide that they were afraid of, and if they did, I would buy them an outrageously priced dipping dots of their choice. Lucas finally tried his first tube slide  in the kiddie pool and absolutely loved it! He surprised me by trying the two intermediate kid slides too! A cotton candy dipping dot well deserved!

August

 Still loving on Abby.
And we keep discovering her on the roof...
The two ladies don't snuggle a whole lot, but when they do, it's adorable! The rest of the time is spent chasing each other around the house.
Squeezing in more Roaring Springs time before school starts.
Jacob finally decided he would try a couple of the bigger slides, and we've been loving having another person to bring along on slide night!

Brad and I's 14 year Anniversary! It may have taken 5 attempts, but I finally got a good picture! But... I kind of love all of them --- he keeps me happy and laughing, and I couldn't imagine this life with anyone else!

Ropes Course and New Park

I've been wanting to do this CSI ropes course for a while now, so I made a last minute trip to Twin to tackle it with Angela! So much fun, and so high! I may have let out a slight yell when I had to slide off the edge for the zip line, and jumping off the structure... what a rush!

This was the most difficult of the challenges, and left my hands quite sore. I love a good challenge!
Came back home that night and took the kids over to the new Discovery Park that opened that morning. It was a hit!
They loved the sand and water area. Pumping water and guiding it where they wanted with the sand. Or just walking around in it.

Super small splash pad, but big enough to get them fully soaked, and thankfully wash off all the sand!

Lucas's new favorite slide!
And it has zip lines! Emma and Jake spent a majority of the time on them.
