Little Bunny Foo Food

Love watching and listening how much she improves with each recital!
A spring break trip to Twin where my parents got their mission call to Portugal! What an adventure they'll have!
Angela played a tune for us on this instrument that sounded just like bag-pipes. She's got some serious lung power!
Emma helped coral a bunny so Aaron could catch it -- discovering later that it was to be their Easter bunny dinner. Emma and I had a nice little chat about the circle of life -- and she seemed to be okay with that. Lucas had fun trying to catch his own bunny.

I managed to catch that one for the kids to pet.
Some popcorn movie nights and jumptime with the cousins made for a fun couple days!

Utah Excursion

Another trip to the Curiosity Museum in Utah. They put in some new Teeter-totters, and the kids went on the zip line a few times.
The pet vet room tends to be one of Emma's favorite places to play -- she loves animals!

Jacob playing around with the movie green screen, and Emma putting on a puppet show.
Jacob and Lucas making a movie picture by picture. Okay, Lucas was just driving cars around, but Jake was trying to make a space film.
Lucas was obsessed with the washing machine, which was just baby clothes spinning around in there when he pushed the button, and tried on a few dress-ups.

Then off to the dinosaur museum!
We've been there so many times, that the kids just kind of go to their favorite places -- the water/sand erosion center...
and the discovering of bones in the sand/gravel area.

And a stop to Scheel's where Emma was a bit uneasy when they stopped us at the top of the Ferris Wheel for a short while.
And we of course couldn't pass up the Provo Rec center for a day of swimming and slides!

Chins Up!

I remember doing this with my siblings, and just laughing hysterically. I don't know what brought it up, but I drew faces on all the kids, and it didn't disappoint. The really funny videos were too long on this site, but they're on Facebook (in March) if you want to check them out. Lizzy ends up attacking Brad's face with licks, and the kids laughing and squeals are just the best!

Lucas is working on writing his name, and he did this (except for the S) all on his own! We're still working on remembering the order, and direction the U's and C's go, but he's doing great!

Emma was running out of shorts that fit, and I was feeling a little crafty, so I grabbed one of her jeans that had holes, and hemmed them into shorts! She loves them! I did all the sewing by hand, even though I have a sewing machine, because I forgot how to work it. Mom? MOM? Maybe I can set up another sewing machine lesson with that talented woman before she takes off for Portugal... Mom? Emma has a lot more pants with holes in them...
The weather was starting to get a little nicer, and the kids tried to do a pic-nic in the back yard. They came back pretty quickly for their coats... it didn't last long. I was smart and stayed inside and laughed at them, as a good mom does.

A quick stop in Twin Falls on our way to Utah -- Lucas loves snuggling up to Grandma Judy.

Double Digits!!!

She may not grow much on the measuring board, but our Emma has reached double digits!! She is still loving legos, drawing, and animals. She also enjoys writing and singing songs, playing the piano, inventing new games, putting together skits, reading, and playing with her brothers -- when they're not being too obnoxious. Don't let that face fool you; she loves broccoli, too.

She is my absolutely favorite daughter, and I love that she chose cheesecake for her birthday cake. I taught her well. Yum!! Blew all the candles out in one breath!
I love that she still loves to snuggle, is sweet and kind, tries her best to make good choices, and is just getting more and more fun to do things with. She is growing a good amount of sass/attitude-- I see the tween years coming too quickly.
For her birthday, she chose to bring two friends to Wahooz. They all attacked the ropes course.
 Kjirsten, Emma, and Alli.
Lots of laser-maze, 3D Ride movies, climbing walls, frog hoppers, twisters, bumper cars, food, ballocity, etc. We were there for hours and hours of non-stop fun. I think it's safe to say, they had a blast.
